Optical properties of radio source 4 C + 08 . 45 ?

چکیده
We present the first optical observations of the radio source 4C +08.45. It is identified with an elliptical galaxy (R = 15.92) at redshift z= 0.1250, with a comparable companion galaxy (R = 15.36; z= 0.1257) at a projected distance of 34.8 kpc. Both galaxies are normal elliptical galaxies. The galaxy identified with the radio source shows strong emission lines on top of an elliptical galaxy spectrum. The companion shows no emission lines. Based on these observations and the available radio data we believe that 4C +08.45 is a LINER type galaxy.

Correlation between crystal structure and optical properties of copper- doped ZnO thin films
ZnO and Cu doped[1] (CZO) thin films were prepared by radio frequency sputtering. The structural and optical properties of thin films were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), optical spectrophotometer, and photoluminescence (PL) techniques. ZnO thin films showed crystalline and micro-stress defects in the crystal lattice. Annealing of CZO thin films increa...
متن کاملEffect Of Zinc Oxide RF Sputtering Pressure on the Structural and Optical Properties of ZnO/PEDOT:PSS Inorganic/Organic Heterojunction
Zinc oxide nanostructures are deposited on glass substrates in the presenceof oxygen reactive gas at room temperature using the radio frequency magnetronsputtering technique. In this research, the effects of zinc oxide sputtering pressure on thenanostructure properties of the deposited layer are investigated. The deposition pressurevaries from 7.5 to 20.5 mTorr. AFM resu...
متن کاملEnhanced Physical Properties Of Indium Tin Oxide Films Grown on Zinc Oxide-Coated Substrates
Structural, electrical and optical properties of indium tin oxide or ITO (In2O3:SnO2) thin films on different substrates are investigated. A 100-nm-thick pre-deposited zinc oxide (ZnO) buffer layer is utilized to simultaneously improve the electrical and optical properties of ITO films. High purity ZnO and ITO layers are deposited with a radio frequency sputtering in argon ambient with plasma p...
متن کاملSignal Optimization During Radio Links Between a Transmitter and a Receiver Located in Adjacent Material Media with Differing Optical Densities (TECHNICAL NOTE)
Signal optimization is affected during radio links between a transmitter and a receiver located in adjacent material media with differing optical densities. The optimization is carried out via the automated control theory method. The radio signal obtained after the optimization is coordinated with the two media's electrical characteristics simultaneously; and this enables low power and small an...
متن کاملThe XMM-Newton/2dF survey - V. the radio properties of the X-ray population
In this paper we cross-correlate the FIRST 1.4GHz radio survey with a wide field (1.6 deg) shallow [fX(0.5 − 8 keV) ≈ 10 −14 erg s cm] XMM-Newton survey. We find 12 X-ray/radio matches representing 4% of the X-ray selected sample. Most of them are found to be associated with AGNs (total of 9) on the basis of the observed optical spectra (3), radio morphology (2) or X-ray/optical properties (4),...
